Thl3 is no surprise to me, and it will not surprise you, but it is of some con sequence to recognize that, following the absorption of significant quantities of tetraethyl lead from any source, or over any length of time, the concentration of lead in the blood undergoes little or no change, while the urinary lead concentration goes to high levels which vary with the severity of the exposure.
