OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH \ 1910.1200(a) STANDARDS AND INTERPRETATIONS 1910.1200--HAZARD COMMUNICATION (a) Purpose. (1)The purpose of this section is to ensure that the hazards of all chemicals produced or imported by chemical manufacturers or im porters are evaluated, and that information concerning their hazards is transmitted to af fected employers and employees within the manufacturing sector.
