Gr ahamEdgar D IR E C T O R O F R E S E A R C H Et myl Ga sol ine Corporat ion Chr ysl er Buil ding 135EAST-1-2*1*St uukt NkwYokii December 4, 1934 Dr* Robert A, Kehoe, University of Cincinnati* College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio * My dear Kehoei Dr* Sayers was in my office a few minutes ago and told me of a conversation which he had recently with Dr* Alice Hamilton and Dr* Germann* In the course of the conversation, Dr* Hamilton stated that there were two men in the Massachusetts General Hospital suffering from chronic lead poisoning from Ethyl Gasoline* She stated that these men were Canadian and that they had been washing their clothes with Ethyl Gasoline and had acquired chronic lead poisoning Dr* Sayers expressed surprise that they should have washed their clothes with a dyed gasoline, whereupon Dr* Hamilton said she did not think it was dyed and did not apparently know that leaded gasoline was colored in any way.
