Yo u r R e f e r e n c e 27th January, 1938 Dear Dr. Kehoe, Many thanks for your letter of January 17th relative to potential hazards associated wibh the cleaning of tanks which have been used for blending and storing leaded vaseline. I have not as yet had an opportunity of studying your letter very carefully and before replying in detail I would like to have the views of Ur. Fossett who is handling all our blending operations now. Unfortunately he is av:ay at the present time but as soon as he returns I will be writing you again on this matter. I have in mind the possibility of sending Mr, Fossett over the the States in the late Spring or early Summer of this year so that he can spend some time in studying all the latest safety precautions and other matters relative to mixing plants. I was in Paris the other day and they tola me that they expected to be in a position to start testing the Paimboeuf plant in June. I understand that Schaefer is planning to come over here in April and I was wondering whether you had made any definite plans as yet to pay us a visit. Dodds is particularly anxious to see you and says it is vitally important that he does so. He is leaving for Australia on March the 17th but is flying out and flying back and will be back in London at the end of April. If you are able to he is particularly anxious that you arrange your trip in such a way so that you will he able to meet him over here, ^ N7782
