All records showed abnormalities of the QKS interval varying from sinus arrhythmia and transitory extreme left axis deviation to very serious conditions such as auricular*ventricular block, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular multi form extrasystoles, and inversion of the T wave with elevated ST segment in lead II.

I have no criticism of the Bureau for doing the Tetra Ethyl Lead work, nor for the Methanol work now in progress, save that these two investigations do much to establish what I consider the bad precedent of accepting payment for doing work in the public interest.

Higher concentrations may lead to necrosis of the liver.
