Rehoe: - Several months ago I had the pleasure of meeting you in Baton Rouge -when we were over there to testify in regard to lead poisoning in connection with Ethyl gasoline* We have just had this question come up and I would like to know whether or not j^cu think it is possible for the thing which is claimed to have happened. A man was welding some clips on some columns out in the open to some beams which had been painted with red lead. He developed cramps' in his abdomen, diarrhea, and bloody stools followed by a coronary occlusion. It is now claimed that he was suffering from acute lead poisoning. Do you think it is possible for him to have gotten enough fumes from the lead to have caused him to have lead poisoning? If you do think so do you think that the; lead poisoning might have been a cause of the coronary occlusion? Row I may be asking too much of you to answer these questions for me. It is purely a matter of personal interest and if you had rather not reply to them it is perfectly alright.
