JANUARY 23-24, 1984
Per our phone conversation, I have contacted respective plant personnel about the aforementioned Monday and Tuesday plant visit by R. w. Laundrie, L. Beliczky, Dr. Alcorn and yourself. Unless you indicate otherwise, it is felt an agenda like the following may be quite appropriate.
MONDAY

2. Short Meeting - L. Beliczky with union committee 3. introductory Meeting with union/Management Team,
Safety Committee and Visitors
4. Plant Tour with All Parties 5. Dinner and General Discussion
TUESDAY
.1 Morning Meeting with interested Employees a. Brief talk by Each Visitor, followed by, b. Panel Discussion to Answer Questions 2. Open
A survey will be used to generate some questions and areas of concern. Here is a sample of what items should be discussed by the visitors in order to cover the general areas.
1. General discussion of angiosarcoma - symptoms, normal end result, etc.
*
2J* What new things have surfaced in recent years about VCl exposure and angiosarcoma?
3. is there a "best" approach to treatment of angiosarcoma?
4. What is the prpjjer course of action for an individual who has been detected-to have angiosarcoma?
5. This facility has one reported case with the tests showing no results which would suggest angiosarcoma. Does our screening system need to be modified; or, is it the best we can expect?
.6 Are there other organs or parts of the body that can be
affected by vinyl chloride of which we should be aware?
