D. 9861 Dear Mr. Boxerman: National Lead Company has arranged for Mr. Andrew Latchison to be admitted to the Cincinnati General Hospital on Burnet Avenue and Good man Street, Cincinnati, Ohio under the care of Dr. Richard Vilter, Director of the Department of Internal ?Iedicine, University of Cincinnati and Dr. Robert A. Kehoe, Professor Emeritus of Occupational Medicine, University of Cincinnati. A medical diagnosis will be made by these men who are considered to be outstanding experts in the field of occupational medicine. This offer is made in order to be certain that the previous diagnosis as made by the Veterans Administration and Dr. Bryan is correct and if so, further treatment will be offered and if the diagnosis is incorrect and another given, determination of the proper treatment can then be prescribed. It has been proposed that Mr. Latchison be admitted! effective today but obviously other arrangements will have to be made. I have called your office repeatedly since last Friday and have not been able to get in touch with you. Please contact Mr. Latchison Immediately and determine what may be required in order to transport him to the hospital. Obviously new arrange ments will have to be made for admission in the hospital some time the middle of next week. Air reservations or train reservations will have to be obtained and estimates made of Mr. Latchison's expenses so the necessary arrange ments can be made, tickets purchased and expenses advanced to Mr. Latchison to make the trip.
