I documented the locations of the check dams that Mr Lawson had installed. I also noted the Balsam fir plantings on the southern side of the tributary and the fence installation. Also, it appears that the southern side has only been planted with Balsam fir and no other plantings or wetland seed mix. In the spring, please finish planting the northern side of the tributary with some Balsam fir plantings, and finish seeding and planting the southern side. As discussed, live stakes from nearby trees (such as Willow and dogwood species) should be planted in early spring, before bud - break, as needed, to supplement the woody species density (as required by the performance standards).
