Mr. J. H. Schaefer, Ethyl Corporation, Chrysler Building, H e w York City 17*
Bear John:
With reference to your letter of April 5 and the possibility of my initiating a meeting between representatives of du Pont and Ethyl, this is to let you know that I expect to be in Wilmington very shortly. I am preparing a rather elaborate report on certain phases of our problems, making use of our data which have been extensively but not completely analyzed. In connection with the presentation of this report, I should like to have a number of the representatives of both Corpora tions present, and I think this would be a very good time to consider the problem you have in mind. In fact, my report will bring into relief the extent of the lead contamination of the area in general, and this should be a good starting point for discussion. I shall 3e if we cannot set a definite date shortly.
Sincerely yours,
BAIi ef
