Mr. James Dicks on, Comptroller, Anaconca Cooper Mining Company, 25 Broadway, New York City.
Dear Mr. Dickson:
JAd. DiCr\dO
Cn December 21st, Mr. Laist wrote you relative to hi? approval for one year for our participation in the
promotional campaign concerning; white lead that is being carried or by the Lead Industries Association.
I have just received the enclosed bill which has been approved and wnich should be paid. This bill is based
on our 193'- figures and these tonnage figures will be
corrected when the final data is available for last year. On a preliminary basis the lead smelting and refining
department is-being billed at 2-1/2^ per ton on 23,010 tons. The1 prescnt/fill is based on twenty per cent of this amount
or :'l/r0.00. The white l#ad manufacturing is being billed on 6,994 tons at 4'1;00 perron for twenty per cent of this amount or 31,330. SO. \r This amounts to,, as per the. enclosed bill, :1,520.30 and will without any correction to the ihove tonnage figures, amount for the year, to $-7,60/1.25. You will note that we have rot been assessed for any nininr oceratior.s, since they are relatively minor and since that
agreement was had with the Lead Industries before we pledged
our support for this year.
