I am sending to you herewith
the result# of our analyse of the samples of sell
water whleh you sent In some time.ego fro Palsy,
Georgiafc'fe.--.
It seems prota bio that the quantity of lead which was In the well eater,as drawn
from the faucet, was largely due to the finely divided distribution of gasoline droplets within the sample which did not emplefeeXy separate out* This m y or may not be the case# but in any ease the water la much too grossly contaminated with leed to be suitable for use, and X* therefore* hope that the well was abandoned in accordance with Mr#':^eCooXey*s recommendation* '.v have not gone to any further trouble to attempt the determination of the act state in which the lead was present In either sample I see no point In any further investigation '.since it is Quite olear that the water is not suitable for use#
.-
Very truly yours*
