Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Captain Charles Scavuzzo
I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the County Courthouse in St. Lucie County, Florida, the St. Lucie County Sheriffs Office in Fort Pierce, Florida, City Hall in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and County Hall in Fort Pierce, Florida, from sunrise to sunset on Friday, September 22, 2017.

My wife, Ann, and I are saddened by the passing of Captain Charlie Scavuzzo, a father, husband and law enforcement officer with more than two decades of service protecting Florida's families and communities. We honor him and all law enforcement officers for their service.
