Dear Simon
Mrs. Holtze has returned and continues to tell us in glowing terans how much she enjoyed her visit to South Africa I would like to personally thank you for your efforts in making this possible and for your gracious cooperation
Joan has advised me of her conversation with you regarding our continued problems with product liability litigation To avoid any misunderstanding please do not feel that I have any personal reasons for suggesting a low profile of Cape or Casap in the United States On the contrary I would be delighted to have you visit all of our accounts but we are only endeavoring to pass along the opinion of our legal staff
Max Meyee has suggested that he would be happy to talk with either you or your legal staff relative to this matter should you be so inclined Perhaps it would be advantageous to call him if there are further questions
@
Further to this matter we met with Rolly Heath at JM whom you may recall is Director of Purchasing and also on their legal staff After we had explained all of the ramifications of our recent changes he commented that he thought all of your maneuvers were proper correct and positive measures but that he hoped Cape would not negate these actions by personal visits to U.S. customers for a period of time
Flease Flease understand that I shall be pleased to abide and cooperate with you on your decision Most certainly I shall look forward to seeing you in Mexico and personally I cannot see any reason why you cannot pay us a social visit in Chicago We would be happy to have you here
Best personal regards
Sincerely
CGMorgan
