Earlier this year, you received notice from the CMA Special Programs Division of a change in the procedure for computing administrative charges against the programs and an increase in the hourly rate. The new system and rate change have been in effect since June 1, 1983.
In June, financial matters related to a given program were also put on the computer. For your information, I enclose a computer print-out of the 8/31/83 financial statement for Phase VIII of the Vinyl Chloride Program. In reviewing the statement, note that interest on the cash balance is credited to the program and appears as an "interest subtotal". (This is a 3-month cumulative total.)
