Levenhagen Rw H. Horsburgh The meeting was called to order and presided over "by Mr. Adrian D. Joyce and the minutes were recorded "by Mr. R. H. Horsburgh, Secretary* Mr. Joyce advised that the meeting was called for the purpose of discussing the advantage of nurchasing lead against the contract with the Mare Island Wavy Yard. . After careful consideration it was decided to accept a quotation from the United States Smelting & Refining Company on two hundred tons at $7.65 to cover this Mare Island contract of two hundred thirty eight tons and also to place an order at $7.65 for an additional 250 tons for August delivery. The price being the lowest of the year the committee felt the purchase a very advantageous one, it befhg made to cove<heiipossible order from the Government or to take care of current business. / / There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was on motion duly made adjourned.
