Subject: Query from VICE News: Science Advisory Board
Hi Robert,
I'm Alex Lubben, a reporter with Vice News. I'm working on a story about the EPA's new appointees to the Science Advisory Board. I have two questions:
Reports are that the board will be announced today. Is that still the case? There are reports, too, that Scott Pruitt will bar EPA grant recipients from serving on the board. Is that
the case and, if so, what is the agency's rationale for denying membership to grant recipients?
Thanks for your help.
Best,
Alex
