Vick November 18, 1980 Subject VCM LEAK SURVEY Attached are the results obtained to date of the VCM survey since the last VCM Leak Survey Report dated November 4, 1980. The results include readings obtained from: (1) VCM unloading compressors, (2) VCM bullets, (3) new module reactors, (4) new module recovery system, (5) old module recovery system, (6) emissions recovery area, (7) old module reactors, and (8) old module VCM receivers. The results are shown on the attached drawings. Also, a listing of readings obtained over 50 ppm VCM is given in Table I. To follow-up on the leaks that are found, each process engineer reporting a leak is to complete a "LEAK DETECTION REPORTING FORM FOR PORTABLE DETECTOR," Exhibit I. The completed form will be taken to operations along with the isometric drawing showing the leak. As the leak gets'repaired, the completed form is to be returned to the engineer reporting the leak. The leak reporting forms will be kept in process engineering. All leaks that were reported in the VCM leak report dated November 4, '1980, and the leaks reported in this report, and future leaks, will have a leak detection report filled out to document when the respective leak was repaired. If there are any questions or comments, please advise so they can be incorpor ated in the remainder of the survey.
