August 31, 1988 TO: The VI Health, Safety & Environment Committee RE: Section 313 Forms - RESPONSE REQUESTED The VI Communications Committee Chairman has expressed his belief that the VI have on hand, information that would give a total vinyl industry picture of its release as reported under SARA Section 313 prior to the time that the figures are compiled late this fall. At the September 6th Communications Committee meeting, a discussion will be held on what the VI can or should be doing to help its member companies communicate about the numbers reported to EPA. In this regard, I have been asked to gather copies of your 313 forms so that I can develop a cumulative total for the vinyl industry. Please forward to me a copy of the appropriate forms no later than September 15th. Additionally, I have added this item to the agenda for the September 21st meeting of the Health, Safety & Environment Committee. Any specific suggestions you have would of course, be appreciated.
