Union 4146 Victoria Irving, Texas 75060 . /* f * Dear Mr. McAdams: HOT .cow On July 19, 1967, a meeting was held at Owentown, Texas in Step 4 of the Grievance and Arbitration Procedures to discuss Grievance 65C15 relative to the application of Shift Differential premiums. As a result of that meeting, the following procedure was agreed upon for the application of the Shift Differential premiums as provided for in Article 18 of the current agreement: 1. Shift Differential premiums will be applied to all scheduled hours worked on the second and third shifts. , 2. In those occupations normally scheduled on a two or three shift basis, hours worked by employees working over beyond their completed shift of work will have shift differential premiums applied to those additional hours of work falling within the second or third shift. \ 3. When work Is scheduled for the second or third shift in those occupations normally scheduled only on the first shift, shift differential premiums will apply when four or more hours are worked. 4. Shift Differential premiums will not apply for hours worked beyond the first shift in those occupations normally scheduled only on the first shift. . This procedure was made effective July 19, 1967, and those employees involved in Grievance 65C15 dated February 10, 1967 will receive Shift Differen tial for the work involved. In addition, payrolls since that date will be reviewed and employees having worked hours that would be covered under the above procedure will receive any Shift Differential due them. McAdams 2 July 27, 1967 makes the effective date of the application of the above procedure January 29 1967 the date of the work performed leading to the filing of the grievance. The above settled the grievance and forms the procedure to be followed in the interpretation of the provisions of Article 18, Shift Differential, in the current agreement.
