2nd exam
Chest, x-ray j tns heart is normal in else, me left peala1aphragm is elevated. There are bilateral biles calcification*, sore so on the left. Interstitial and bronchopulmonary markings are prominent bilaterally. There is a fine reticular pattern throughout both lungs, mostly in the lower lobes, ccspatible with e pneumoconiosis. The skeletal struc tures appear normal.
Pulmonary function testing! There were 3 computerised spirograms done, the best effort ^-qas used fox computation. A copy of the spirogzae graph is appended to this report,
praere is evidence for restrictive disease.
C0NCUJ&1ON&*
Based upon the history and the findings, it is my opinion that t__
< has cnronic
lUcupetioaal bronchitis with restrictive airways disease, pulmonary fibrosis, pneumo-
^""d&nloals, with the probability of pulmonary asbestosis, for which 1 would estimate a
disability of 45 of total. Baaed upon his history it is my opinion that this condition
a result of the dirt, dusts, fumes, asbestos and irritants in bis wort at Sherwin liams Paint Co, The symptoms, pulmonary function testing and chest x-ray substantiate
diagnosia. Bxposuxe to asbestos poses a threat to future health due to the known
clnogealc effects. Be should have yearly chest x-rays to monitor this possibility.
orthopedic, opnthalmologic, otoiaryngeal and neuropsychiatric consultations.
