This vn.ll take place in actuality with the July, I9h9 issue of this Journal. On that date, the American Medical Association becomes our publisher and continues the 9k9 Volume to completion. On January 1, 1950, the new Journal, to be called Archives of Industrial Hygiene and occupational Medicine, will appear, I serving as Editor-in-Chief with an editorial staff to include, ' subject to the final approval of the American Medical Association, you four gentlemen, two others to be nominated by the Council on ^ Industrial Health of the American Medical Association, and probably three, or more foreign representatives, these to be: Professor Sven Foreman of Stockholm Dr. Jan Muller of Czechoslovakia Dr. Leo Noro of Helsinki, Finland Dr. Thomas Bedford, Medical Research Council .( of London Your duties as an associate editor will consist mainly in reading critically and commenting upon papers submitted. There will be no fees for this work, but all mailing expenses will be defrayed by the publication. As editors, you will receive a copy of the Journal. Will you accept this assignment?
