Members of the National Air Pollution Control Tech niques Advisory Committee were present, as was Dr. Irving Selikoff of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Messrs. You should look for proposed regulations for asbestos emission which are to be published on or about September 28th. Public hearings on these proposals will be held on or about October 28th. The final standards are expected to become effecjtive on March 25, 1972. Compliance must be effected within 90 days thereafter unless extensions are secured from EPA.
AIA/NA plans to put on an important seminar.in New York on September 21st to review.the proposed standards as well as the activities of AIA/NA past, present and future. It is expected that a representative of QAMA will participate.
