Our attention has recently been called to a hair pomade contain 3 2 3ing % acetate of sugar lead to be applied two ( ) to three ( ) times a week. Your article ''Exposure to Lead" v.3 (Feb.) 194-7, has prompted us to contact you. Certain conclusions have been reached as to safe levels of ingestion of lead daily. Could these levels be influenced to any marked degree by the con 3tinued application of a hair dye or pomade of % lead acetate content?
