5305 RVCM Estimates for Next Winter
Attached are some figures showing the latest estimates for next winter*s RVCM levels. The estimates are based on last winter*s RVCM test runs, and monthly RVCM distributions for the last year.
The first figure shows historical data for last year. This data was used as a baseline for projected RVCM improvements. Figure 2 shows the expected improvements assuming that all of the following items are implemented:
L. Reactors are stripped with cooling water on the condenser,
>. Reactors are rinsed to the blend tank with hot water. Blend tank agitation is improved by increased aeration,
i. Blend tank sparger problems are addressed by flow indication and cleaning procedures.
5. Silos are aerated for at least 24 hours with 150F aeration air,
5. Extra reciprocating compressors are used to allow increased aeration, and
7. 5305 particle size is reduced or much more tightly controlled.
Figure j shows the expected RVCM level for American Mirrex shipments assuming a) all the above items are implemented, and b) Aberdeen lot selects the 10 best cars each month for American Mirrex.
