Asbestos Samp 11ng
On December 22, 1975 the following asbestos samples were obtained from the vermicullte expander area. A Micronair sampler was used with a sample rate of 2 LPM and 15 minute sampling time. Note: Only Libby vermicullte was being expanded.

The above samples were obtained by Dick Gruenbaum and all. samples were analyzed by Environmental Health Labs of Farmington, Michigan. In addi tion, two samples of raw ore and a sand sample were submitted for asbestos analyses. Sample labeled #1 was African, 2 is Sand from Libby Ore and #3 was Libby Ore.
As an analytical check, samples#!, #2, #3 and #10 were also analyzed by Battelle.
The following analyses were reported from Environmental Health Labs gn raw ore and sand samples. By optical analyses fibers were noted in all samDles.
Using X-ray detraction the following were noted.
