Oil Producers, Inc Ringwald Shannon lease west of Cushing, Oklahoma on 04/14/2021 for an inspection of the tank battery facility that has had previous discharges. There was a facility representative present at the site. The inspection was conducted under the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to assess a previously reported spill from the brine facility. The scope of the inspection is to assess unauthorized discharges and impacts of nearby water resources under the CWA. Facility Description The facility is a brine collection facility located immediately north of a flowing creek. The main tank battery had been removed, but the brine facility remained. Section II - Observations The main tank battery for the lease has been removed and location graded. The brine facility was still being used to collect water from another lease west. Keener Oil employee said they operate the lease now and are using trucks to remove pit water. The drain valve has not been used. There was no evidence of any releases to the creek. With a calibrated YSI conductivity meter, the total dissolved solids (TDS) of the nearby creek today was 1,350 milligrams per liter (mg/l). The creek was not flowing.
