Wood, $2SD Attached is a copy of a letter from me to Harvey Giss of Litton Bionetics stating our final decision regarding their alledged overrun of $21,374 on the above referenced study. You may recall that you had requested a delay in response to try to insure that Litton did the best job possible in preparing the final report. While I do not consider that sending this letter earlier would have had any effect in Litton1s performance, I considered it prudent to comply with your - request. In talking with David Martin of Litton May 30, 1979, I learned that the target date for receipt of the report is now June 11, 1979. Since I understand that Harvey Giss has been attempting to reach me, I considered that it was appropriate to send the letter now. This letter has been discussed with and seen by George Levinskas, and I trust that it will finally resolve the matter with Litton. alw attachment Peter E.
