Kehoe University of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio Dear Sir* We wish to thank you for your letter of September 17 giving us the benefit of your opinion on the case of our laboratory tester who is suffering from progressive muscular atrophy. The man has been examined by a number of different doctors and no trace of lead has been found. Only one of the doctors rendered an opinion that the employe might be extremely susceptible to lead and that it would be present in such minute quantities as not to be detected. The employe is at the present time under the care of a specialist who has had him placed in a hospital for observation. Under, the circumstances we shall not avail ourselves at this time of your kind offer to test samples of blood and excreta, we shall, however, be glad to have the doctor representing the Ethyl Gasoline corporation see this employe when he next calls upon us.
