Far this reason, we are requesting that all Flintkote labeled joint system products be a non-asbestos type as soon as possible and no later than October 1, 1976. It is understood your nan-asbestos formula will be ecncetitive in quality and priced the sane as the asbestos type. Please expedite the angles for field .testing purposes. With the change in formula, please plan to revise the Caution label on both 1 and 5 gallon cans. New artwork for these labels will be forwarded. You are probably aware of consumer proposals to require caution labels on joint system products containing crystalline silica. Please advise me as soon as possible if your products contain this either as an additive or an impurity. He may desire to revise the caution label for crystalline or other dusts.
