Summary
The only organic pr ority pollutants found in the samples in concentrations
above 10 ppb were t e xylenes which totaled 40 ppb. Other organic priority
pollutants indicate# to be present in lower concentrations are given in the

The data for metals and chemical analyses are given in Tables 1 and II
Discussion
The samples were de tve red to Ponca City on 24 March 1981 by a chartered airplane. Those wat ers were sampled by LC personnel and shipped in containors provided by this laboratory.
The samples were rec eived still adequately packed in ice and below 4C.
On receipt, the sam[ les were stored in a cold room at 4C until analyzed.

Analyses of the ext i ac for organics by GC-MS per Method 625 are reported
in these data. Ana iy ses for pesticides per Method 608 are in progress and will be reporte separately when available. Analyses of the V0A sam-
pies were accomplist ed the same week as received.
The detection limits fo r some of the metals in Table I are higher than usual due to the nec ess ity to dilute the samples because of the very high calcium level.
