G. G ortner. The fo u r samples labeled Placebo corn o i l , T-2999 COC 25 mg/kg/day FM-3924, T-2999 COC 2-5 mg/kg/day and T-2999 COC 0.25 mg/kg/day were subm itted f o r mg/ml co n ce n tra tio n o f FM-3424, f o r use in a r a t feeding stu d y. The samples were run by a GLC method using a methanol e x tra c tio n and an in te rn a l standard. GLC RESULTS: Sample Placebo Corn O il T-2999 COC FM-3924 0.25 mg/kg/day T-2999 COC FM-3924 2.5 mg/kg/day T-2999 COC FM-3924 25 mg/kg/day Mg/Ml FM-3924 No FM-3924 detected 0.0459 mg/ml FM-3924 0.4694 mg/ml FM-3924 5.136 mg/ml FM-3924 SUMMARY: A ll samples were w ith in 10% o f ta rg e t and showed good r e p r o d u c ib ility . The s o l u b il it y o f FM-3924 was found to be low. Standards used show signs o f s a tu ra tio n a t 0 .5 mg/ml le v e l. I t was found th a t s o n ific a tio n would d is s o lv e the FM-3924 in to the corn o i l . But a f t e r seve ral days th e 5 mg/ml standard showed some c r y s ta liz a t io n , b u t a fte r s o n ific a tio n i t would r e - s o lu b iliz e .
