E. F. KLENKE RESEARCH NEWARK PLANT
SULFATE-DEVELOPMENT-NEW PRODUCTS-"AFFLAIR" -FINISHING EXPERIMENTAL LARGE FLAKE-"HURRICANE11 CLASSIFICATION
This will confirm our conversation regarding the classifi cation of experimental large flake gold "Afflair", lot 00580, NF-106-D. About 5 lbs. was classified, the remaining 24 lbs. is being stored at Newport pending your advice on its disposition.
Data from the classification run are attached. Appearance of the classifier product was comparable to normal gold (NF-103-D) rejects. The coarse fraction (rejects) of the NF-106-D showed very brilliant sparkle.
Both fractions from our run are being shipped to you via a CPC shipment. They are packed in a single carton.
