(2) Toxicological problems - overall problems, hydro carbons and combustion products, chemical reactions in the atmosphere, particulate matter such as lead, inhalation and metabolism of lead. Brief resume of the relationship between antiknock effective ness and molecular structure; detailed economic evaluation including the cost of the more promising amines, possible sources, possible value to refiners; presentations being made in Joint Technical Meetings with customer companies. 2. Fluid Stability - Comprehensive report on the comparison of the fluid storage stability and gasoline storage stability of Ethyl fluid; comparison with competitor's product. 3* Air Pollution - Ethyls studies of the.,.past several years of lead in engine exhaust gases; Ethyl1s participation in committee activity on the contribution of engine exhaust gases. 4. Octane Requirement of 1955 Automobiles - The result of Ethyl's tests together with information obtained by consulting with automobile manufacturers; new automobiles with low mileages and some with enough mileage to indicate the octane requirement increase. 5. Sales Program for 1955 - A report by Mr. Prey to a larger group, including supervisors, on the Sales program as presented in a Sales meeting during the previous week. Suggestions as to how R & E may best support the 1955 program and future sales programs. This preliminary agenda is submitted to aid members of the committee in suggesting other subjects or certain aspects of the above listed subjects; also in deciding what persons should attend and what preparation they should make to partici pate in the discussions.
