The VCRC members agreed to have CanTox review the Priority Data Needs to address each priority and non-priority data need and to discuss what data currently are available and their impact on the conclusions in the ATSDR Vinyl Chloride Toxicological profile. 2.0 CanTox estimated the maximum project cost at $10,120. Dr. Has Shah recommended a total budget of $15,000 which would Include the consultant cost (CanTox), CMA administration, and contingency fund for any additional work that may be required upon review of the consultant's draft report. Dr. Shah reported that the VCRC currently has a balance of approximately $10,500. Therefore, a commitment of $500 per company would be required to make-up the shortage before CMA can hire the services of CanTox.
