Dear Len:

Re: Letter of October 19th . to Dr. Frank Princl
The reason you have no copy of the final report "0n the Potential Hazard Associated with the Introduction of Tetramethyllcad as an Antiknock Agent into Commercial Gasoline, With Respect to the Absorption of Lead by the Handlers of Such Gasoline", is that this report has not been issued. A draft of it was supplied to representative of Ethyl, duPont and SO. California, and also to certain people in the Public Health Service and in the Pentagon in Washington, for certain practical reasons, these copies to be replaced by the final version, as soon as certain agreed upon alterations conic be decided upon and made. The alterations have caused us an almost incredible amount of trouble and loss of time, and only now - within a very short tame - can the final report be issued, you will receive copies, as soon as we have them ready.
Sincerely yours,
Robert A . Kehoe, M. D
