C-8 Exposure on B-162 Boot ZIPFEL Bob, One issue that came up In the C-8 PACE team meeting yesterday was the follow up on Jennifer irichols* C-8 study. Tony Playtis is going to run the B-162 roof samples through LOGAN, but with -that many samples above the action limit, he feels we will need to take action (i.e. move the smoking area). In addition, with the PPE requirements for construction workers around the C-8 scrubber, there was concern that we should investigate whether an administrative procedure is reguired around roof access in general, this are is used by PP/Diap, Granular, and monomer operators on a routine basis, and so it becomes a BTO issus rather than just one area. Proposed course of action? Playtis runs existing samples through LOGRH and recommends whether any action ig reguired. If action is required, Mattson convene appropriate personnel to investigate roof access, moving smoking area, etc. Playtis will be the subject matter expert, but decision on how to implement (relocate smoking area, limit access tilae through administrative procedure, change PPB requirements, etc.) becomes an operations issue.
