In refarence to L.L. Sack's lattar of March 26,
1971 in which ho outlined the rexes to be revised to
less than 1% lead, we have to date received only rive
foils reflecting this move; they are:
A3% A2W(S
sutofl: 31s>v;ili
B85WJU5
"Hold Productions" have bean laaued on the A2's and 3L6's, and will be released on the previous card so that 6(32200 c n be used. The 'dtffTWAl? has alrasdy besn la cued and '.he "low lead" foil haa set aside in production office with tne ur.cnra tending that it won't be
used.
Of the remaining formulas on the list, only eight (0) rexes contain fc>82'1P . These ere:
A2.593 A2AL7
A2Y50 A2Y16
A2H27 A2H39
A57A15 34*56
To-date we have not received "low-leed" formulaa on these eight rexea.
The remaining rexes do not contain 682200 but
.
higher amounts of litherce 81021 or lead drier,
090350 or Chrome pigments. These rexea need not
concern us at the present time, since they do not con
tain 682200. Cur last estimate la that we have on
hand sufficient 602200 to yield 11,000 gallons of paint.
The second part of the problem is lead car bonate, 680622 or 680500. from the list, only three
rexea use this material:
A2W2
A6VJ32
A6W39
Since these rexes have been replaced by 346W31, we have gone to Cleveland for a disposition on our excess
