Future SHAC Meetings January 9 - 1:00 p.m. - VIP Conference Room Safety Performance Safety performance for 1984 is as follows: Recordable Injuries: 4 TRR Actual: 0.30 TRR Target: 0.92 TLWR (Actual): 0 DAWR (Actual): 0 January/February Safety Syndrome The following actions are just some of those being taken to prevent a potential increase in safety incidents in January and February: 1. A safety information packet is being sent to supervision for review with all who work for them. 2. Individual safety awards will be given to all in the plant for 1984's performance. 3. A safety calendar with an enclosed message on off-the-job safety was sent to all employee's homes. 4. The first quarter, Quarterly Safety and Housekeeping Inspection is scheduled for the last week of January with an emphasis area of safety log books. SC 00Q742 LAMO01940 SHAC MINUTES - 1/2/85 Page 2 Extreme Cold Weather Contingency Actions The procedure for contingency action to be taken during abnormally cold weather was approved by the Plant Manager and is attached. The person who sends out P-Bulletin procedures is on vacation until next week, and so the approved procedure was sent to all Manufacturing Superintendents. Thurman Payne and Bob Hammann will review the procedure with Tom Ryan to aid in his understanding since he missed the PMSB review of the procedure. Tom Ryan may implement the procedure tomorrow if the weather bureau predicts abnormally cold weather. 1985 SHAC The 1985 SHAC will be named next Monday. The 1984-1985 SHAC turnover meeting is set for Wednesday, January 16, 1985. An agenda for this meeting will be developed next week. A SHAC meeting with spouses will be held at a local restaurant on one of the following dates: January 17, 24, 30 or 31. The date that is best for all will be determined next week. 1st Quarter 1985 Quarterly Inspection The 1st Quarter 1985 Quarterly Inspection will be held the week of January 21st. JTPcsr Attachment J.
