Attached is the schedule for Mr. N. S. Lee, Technical Director,
and Mr. C. T. Wang, Manager of Procurement Division of Nan Ya
Plastics. Mr. Joseph Lee, our salesman in Taipei, will accompany
these gentlemen.

Nan Ya operates 20 calenders, plus they plan to install three high speed calenders in 1972, over 100 extruders, and one VAT machine. Their appetite for plasticizers is almost unbelievable, ca 60 million pounds annually.
Tney have a contract for 20 million pounds of Santicizer 711 and over one million pounds of Santicizer 160. Throughout the week we will be specifically emphacizing Santicizer 711, Santicizer 160, the phosphate plasticizers, and polymeries.
For the product family discussions, if each of the Product Managers/
Supervisors and Paul Graham could spend 15-20 minutes per family,
it would provide a reference point for the week's activities.
Market uses and applications need not be stressed as they will be
covered later. A summary of the development of the products and
their status should supply the basic points that we want to have
established.

For the ecology and toxicity discussion, they -have expressed an interest in the methods used to determine the toxicity of plasticizers, Paul, it should be sufficient if you cover the major points without getting into depth on your ecology talk. I would like to have you lead Nan Ya into discussing the status of PVC, phthalates and the environment in the Far East.
