Gremillion, same subject The first series of air sampling tests per referenced letter were completed on March 29, 1974 except for the special jobs which will be scheduled as specific tasks are accomplished. This letter is to issue a new set of air sampling test schedules for various employees in the plant over the next several weeks to establish more data regarding potential vinyl chloride exposures to a sufficient number of plant employees during their normal work activities. The schedule (Attachment A) defines the job classifications/occupations to be tested. You will be notified by your supervisor if you have been selected to wear the personnel monitor ing equipment. The same basic procedure shall be used for issuing and returning the testing apparatus as described in the referenced letter. This time, however, particular attention should be placed on the dates, times and shift for each job classification/occupation to be tested. The pumps and other apparatus shall be worn for four (4) durations at which time you should return to the lab and return the equipment. At the end of your sampling period you will be questioned about your activities and work locations during the time you were wearing your equipment. The end of the tubing extending from the pump must be located us close as practical to your breathing zone at all times. The equipment should be kept on your per son at all times during testing and malfunctions reported to the lab immediately upon de tection. Your continued cooperation during this series of tests is required to obtain the best repre sentative samples for analysis.
