Currently this restriction is at the stage of ECHA opinion development. The Commission is not yet actively involved and observes the process. More speciically, the first public consultation for the PFHxA restriction has inished and the stakeholder comments have been received and are being evaluated by ECHA and the Scientific Committees. A second public consultation will take place on the SEAC (Socio-economic Analysis Committee) draft opinion in which the need for derogations will be further assessed. For these reasons, I consider it premature to meet already at this stage. However, we are open to meet you and other stakeholders later in the process, i.e. when the Commission has received the RAC and SEAC opinions from ECHA. I would recommend you to fbllow the ECHA process closely and make your position and information known at the relevant stages.
