The meetings start at 6;30 P.M. The specific location of this meeting has not yet been determined although by Society agreement it is understood that it will be in the vicinity of Middletown. Mr. Charles Greig, the Secretary of our Society, will contact you to inform you of the exact location and to determine what visual or other aids you may need in your presentation. Please feel free to review with .Mr. Jean Scheuneman at the Taft Sanitary Engineering Center any of the information they have gathered relating to air pollution in Hamilton and Sutler County where an air pollution survey was conducted in I960, where an extensive sampling program took place in I960, and where participation in the national sampling network occurred in 1959 and 1961. Of course by your own past activities you are aware of some of our problems including those relating to American Cyanamid. It is possible that there nay be some interest among the physicians, in the hazards due to automobiles, diesel motors, etc. While no specific time limitation has been set, it is not an uncommon practice for the presentation to take approximately forty to forty-five minutes with discussions and questions arising thereafter. Our speaker will be Dr. Robert A. Kehoe, director, Kettering Laboratory, Cincinnati, the outstanding authority in this area, with a broad local, state, national, and international background in his area of interest and activity. Dr. Kehoe received his M.D. at the University of Cincinnati in 1920; Pathologist Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, 1920-24; Assistant Professor Physiology, College of Medicine, University of Cincinnati, 1921-31; Associate Professor, 1931-39; Research Professor, 1939-49; Director of the Kettering Laboratory since 1930; Professor of Industrial Medicine since 1948; Director of University of Cincinnati Institute of Industrial Health since 1948; Director of Department of Preventive Medicine and Industrial Health since 1948; Medical Director of Ethyl Corporation from 1925 through 1958; National Consultant, Surgeon General, U.S. Air Force; Fellow Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, University of Cincinnati, since 1937; recipient Kilgour Prize, 1920, Knudsen Award for 1948-49, Award of Technical and Scientific Societies Council Cincinnati, 1952, Award of American Academy of Occupational Medicine, 1957, Mellon Award of Air Pollution Control Association, 1960. Since our first meeting of the year was a joint meeting with the Woman's Auxiliary, this will be the first meeting at which our new President, Dr. Paul Ivins, will preside. In case you missed it before, other officers of the Society are: Secretary-Treasurer - Dr. Robert Kappers; President-Elect - Dr. James Sawyer; Secretary-Treasurer-Elect - Dr. James F. Stewart; Delegates - Dr. Neil Millikin and Dr. John Carter; Alternate Delegates - Dr. Richard Zettler and Dr. John Perkins. The Butler County Bar Association has invited us to meet jointly with them in April, on the 12th. They are making the plans and arrangements. You will receive later notice of time and place. This year the OSMA is holding its Annual Meeting in Cincinnati, beginning on April 10.
