However, I am leaving on vacation Sunday and won't return until Sept 8th. Just FYI - 1recently led a workshop in Taiwan thru a USDATASC grant. Reps from the pesticide industry and commodity groups attended. We have a report on the workshop. I believe why the growers are saying that pesticide use is driven by Taiwan is because Taiwan has to have MRLs in place for a given pesticide/commodity and they have far fewer than the US. Many factors at play. Perhaps a face to face when I get back would be best to explain it all.
