I entirely agree v;ith your point of view that it might be more advisable for y ou to have adequate supplies of the necessary printed material available in various languages so that you can supply the complete story to each of our medical consultants in their own language. In order that you may have all the material that y o u require might I suggest that you send us tnose articles etc. which you would like translated and we will make the necessary arrangements to have them not only translated but printed in the languages you require. I have discussed the matter of dispensing with Dr. Sieveking's services with our German friends and have left it in their hands to approach him and make what ever arrangements are usual for Germany. I have impressed upon our German frienas thaw it is necessary to be extremely tactful in approaching Dr. Sieveking and I am sure they will bear this in mind. I was over in Germany about ten days ago and discussed again with Dr. Muller Cunradi this question of medical supervision and we have agreed that a young doctor working under the direction of Dr. Spelthan shall be appointed to the plant at Doeberitz and that in addition to taklug care of the medical supervision of the plant, he will also be responsible for supervising the mixing plants in Germany ana jjiy other medical matters connected with Ethyl G.m.b.h. I think, therefore, that it will be quite a good idea if you wrote to Dr. Spelthan immediately on this mat-e referring of course to the present arrangements we have with Sieveking and giving him your views on the type of man that it would be advisable to employ at Doeberitz O p O n T 'y H 4 . , r-j Ji\j ( ...Dr-.~R--A*....Ke.hoe Da t e 16th March, 1957. It is clearly understood I think that it will only be possible to retain the services of a young doctor at Doeberitz and it will therefore be necessary to change our medical consultant at reasonable, intervals as we cannot expect a man to keep on doing this type of work for an indefinite period of time. Mr. Webb arrives to-day and will be staying, I think, for about a month.
