Good Morning,
I hope you are all doing well. I am reaching out because I was wondering about the status of some Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) grants and the status of them. There has been some confusion as to what federal grants and funding has been frozen or is no longer frozen. Between the court rulings and understanding the executive orders, we have had plenty of localities worried about the status of their funding.
I know there are a few projects in Trenton, for example, that have received different grants through BIL but one I can think of is a bridge grant for the Lincoln Avenue Bridge in Trenton. It is a $47 million grant and with the change in administration, we want to make sure these funds are still going to the county so they can work on the replacement. Please let me know if there is
anything you can share on this and other grants impacting the 12th District of New Jersey.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Best Regards,
Brad Korten
