CBIA Lease Discussion Draft 12 6 13 - march 25 redline for NPS.docx
Hi Aurelia,
The documents I sent earlier today include a list of many of the issues that CBIA continues to have with the NPS draft proposed lease, and referenced a redline that CBIA sent, through counsel, to Lars Hanslin for the NPS on March 25, 2014. A copy of the redline is attached for your convenience. With regard to your request for a date for starting any environmental testing, please refer to the materials I sent earlier, which discuss timing and other matters relating to the environmental issues. In summary:
1. NPS can schedule testing during September and October, when the resort is closed. 2. The resort will need at least 30 days' notice, along with a specific plan for proposed testing. 3. Once the scope of the testing and dates are approved, Resort personnel will accompany NPS
while on property. 4. And CBIA would like to review all the testing results currently in your possession.
Thank you again, Julie
Julie Philp ACG

Hi Julie, Thanks for providing this. We'll review and get back to you.
In the meeting, David mentioned Caneel Bay had comments to the lease agreement and that those would be shared with us. It would be extremely helpful for us to understand your concerns to the lease. When could we expect to see those comments? And when would you propose we could start the environmental testing? Much appreciated.
