Information listed for conventional steam plants is the most complete that can be had for units planned, under construction and starting operation. As in last Octobers survev. the design features listed for each project cover four tiglitiv packed tabulated pages. But. because of the wav we must compile facts, the survev of conventional steam plants does not include all current programs, nor does it consist only of current nlant construction. This comes about since we are working from lists of planned installations as a base. Questionnaires asking for protect details are sent to the individual companies on those lists. Data mav appear in the tables well before construction starts: or if engineer ing is deiaved. mav appear Ion" after announcement.
