Mr. J. T. Bell, Plant Chief Chemist Monsanto Company, P. 0. Box 2h9 Anniston, Alabama 36202
Dear Mr. Bell:
Reference is to our telephone conversation of this date in regard to a cut-back of the proposed survey for Monsanto Company.
It is our considered opinion that two field trip3 per year in March
and September may very well be sufficient to reflect trends in residue levels
for the fishes, however we must of course state in this context that four
trips per year would -certainly show more since seasonal aspects would be
adequately covered.
.'
We therefore recommend that the study be continued for one calendar year on a two-trip per year schedule. At the end of this additional year we can further evaluate the survey and decide the course of action for future work.
Thank you very much for your consideration. The new proposal is pnclosed.
