December 6, 197*+ t G. M. Demarest Washington Plant Re: Analysis of Environmental Air Samples - Washington Plant On November 22, 197*+, samples of environmental air in various working areas of your plant were collected and the samples were analyzed at the Mishawaka Plant. The samples were collected using a Willson Personal Sampling Pump and MSA charcoal filled tubes. The analysis of each sample was performed by gas chromatography. The recults of these tests are shown on the attached table in parts per million (PPM). The Threshold Limit Values (TLY) for each cf the solvents is shown alongside each of the solvents. Samples 1 thru 6 exceed the TLV standards for a mixture of solvents. Air movement in these areas should be strongly considered. No vinyl chloride was detected in any of these samples.
